The time to recovery is much longer and more unpredictable for patients with a history of immunosuppressant use. This is because the results are greatly influenced by the dosage and strength of the that immunosuppressant was prescribed previously. A retrospective observational study shown that the effectiveness of Tangs was inversely associated to prior immunosuppressants exposure (r = 0.9154): the complete clearance was achieved in 8 months (87.5%, 14 of 16) in non-immunosuppressants subjects; the wavelike evolution of psoriatic lesion appeared in prior immunosuppressants subjects, time required to recover is proportionate to the time immunosuppressants were used. For patients who have previously undergone treatment with immunosuppressants, the frequency and severity of relapses during the treatment process, as well as the length of time required for complete recovery, are positively correlated with the type, dosage, intensity, and duration of both topical and systemic immunosuppressive agents previously used. For example, the more frequently and for a longer duration that topical corticosteroids are used, the larger the area of skin they are applied to, and the more potent they are, the longer the required recovery time, and the more frequent and severe the relapses will be. Additionally, skin affected by more frequent and prolonged use of topical corticosteroids will also recover more slowly. Furthermore, the skin at the site of the rash may become darker after it fades, and continued treatment is necessary until the skin returns to its original white color and smooth texture to achieve complete recovery.

对于曾经用过免疫抑制剂治疗过的患者而言，治疗过程中出现的反弹频率及其严重程度和整个疗程的治愈时间长短与患者以前外用和内服的免疫抑制剂的种类、剂量、强度和疗程成正相关，例如：皮质类固醇外用的越多，外用时间越长、涂抹的皮肤面积越大、皮质激素越强效，那么所需治愈的时间也就越长，反弹次数也越多，反弹程度也越大，外用激素越多的皮肤部位的皮疹也就消退越慢。而且皮疹消退后的皮肤原地也越黑，必需继续治疗直到皮疹消退后的皮肤出现白色，质地光滑为止，才是完全治愈。

The rash exhibits a recurrent pattern during the treatment process, with a gradual increase in size, thickness, dryness, and scaling, and even exudation during the first three to five months of medication. However, as the skin cells gradually shed and renew, the rash improves with thinning, reduced itching, finer scaling, and cessation of exudation. The rash stabilizes for several months and then relapses, but with less severity than the previous episode. After several such recurrent waves, the immune system gradually tends towards a stable state, and continued medication is necessary until the rash completely disappears, and the skin returns to its smooth and normal appearance.

Topical steroids mask some diseases, make some disease worse, and create other diseases. TANGS products are made from 100% pure herbal extraction without any additives or preservatives added during production and encapsulation. Therefore, when exposed to open air, especially in hot and humid conditions like Singapore, the products may become sticky, clump together, and turn black in color. However, it is safe to consume even if the color changes to black. Keeping TANGS products in a cool and dry place can prevent them from becoming sticky and changing color.
