Caught between a provisional diagnosis of early mycosis fungoides and the possibility of pityriasis lichenoides, this ten-year-old child’s case exemplifies the diagnostic ambiguity that often plagues early immune-mediated skin diseases. When conventional treatments failed and further invasive testing was declined, a shift toward Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) offered not just symptom relief—but systemic restoration. Sixteen months later, full remission was achieved without immunosuppressants, suggesting that immune equilibrium may sometimes be attained not through suppression, but through rebalancing.
